ASHLOCK, Bobbie J., age 84, of Dearborn Hts., March 15, 2020. Loving father of Karen (Dan) Yale and Glen (Dana) Ashlock. Dearest grandfather Cami Emerson and Eric Emerson. He is also survived by his brother-in-law Gary (Shirley) Jones and his sister-in-law Sandy (Dick) Schultz. He is preceded in death by his parents Charley Ashlock and Mae Stafford, his brother Herbert Ashlock, Jr. and his sister Glenda Claxton. Interment in Michigan Memorial Park. Bob fully committed to the things he loved including his children, grandchildren, and his wife of 60 years. He was a true “car guy.” In addition to working at Cadillac for 35 years, he built several street rods for himself and others. Because cars are meant to be driven and not pulled on trailers, he proudly drove his street rods to shows all over the country. Most recently, he began visiting as many breweries in Michigan as he could and made it to 86 of them.
