BENDER, Kenneth F., age 93, of Livonia, September 19, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Lucille Bender. Loving father of Lisa Bender and Kristin (Michael)Welch. Dear grandfather of Joshua Bender, Michala Fox-Welch, Kyle Bender and Xavier Welch. Dearest great grandfather of Rory Smith-Bender. He is also remembered by his faithful cat Misty. He is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Maud Bender, brothers Edward, Corky and LeRoy Bender and his sister Jeanne Bender. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Michigan Humane Society or Shriners Hospital for Children.

A coffee buddy of mine for many years, Ken was a proud American who served his country with distinction in WW 2 and beyond.
Due to illness, we have missed his presence and will now miss fun conversations about our families, the craziness of politics and the tomato garden he felt so much pride in.
Ken was special and those who met him felt his genuine warmth and goodness.
May God bless the soul of this special person.
