Obituary
Ricardo Guiseppe Caverzan, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on May 17, 2026, in Allen Park, Michigan. Born on March 19, 1941, in Ontario, Canada, he lived a full and vibrant life, reaching the age of 85.
As a dedicated Construction Engineer, Ricardo contributed significantly to his field, bringing both intelligence and a strong work ethic to every project he undertook. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was known for his joyful spirit and love for the outdoors. Ricardo possessed a remarkable ability to make friends easily, endearing himself to many with his contagious laughter and genuine kindness.
Family gatherings were a source of great happiness for Ricardo. He took immense pride in the achievements and growth of his children and grandchildren, cherishing the time spent with them. His legacy continues through his beloved children: Debora Scola and her husband, Jack; Daniel Caverzan and his wife, Stacey; and his treasured grandchildren, Louis Scola, along with his fiance, Cammielle Gwisdalla, and Gabriella Caverzan.
Ricardo is preceded in death by his parents, Umberto and Maria, and his sister, Sister Pierina Caverzan. He is survived by his dear sister, Armida Bortolon, and several nieces and nephews who will long remember him with love and affection.
In accordance with his wishes, cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory," located within Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Ricardo's passing leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
