Obituary
Charles Edward Fahnestock, born on March 6, 1956, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, passed away on May 1, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 70.
Charles was a man who cherished the simple pleasures of life. He found joy in the great outdoors, spending countless hours fishing and hunting. His love for nature extended to his garden, where he nurtured plants with the same care and dedication he showed to his family.
A devoted family man, Charles was a loving husband to his wife, Wendy Fahnestock, and a proud father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved mother, Cecelia Fahnestock, and his dear sisters, Brenda and Rhonda. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Edward S. Fahnestock, and his sister, Cindy.
Charles was a valued member of Local 686 Carpenters, where he formed lasting friendships and shared his skills and passion for craftsmanship.
His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who knew him, as he leaves behind a family that will forever cherish his memory and the moments they shared together. Charles will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones.
