Obituary
David William Flood, born on January 26, 1953, passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 73. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
David dedicated many years of his life to a career at Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, Michigan, from which he retired with pride. His industrious spirit continued as he pursued his passion for the outdoors, operating his own lawn business for over four decades.
A man of the land, David found joy in raising livestock and farming hay. His lifelong enthusiasm for horses was well known among family and friends, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.
He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Edward and Hazel Flood, and his sister, Sandra Cantley.
David leaves behind his loving wife, Edna Flood, who stood by his side through life's journey. He is also survived by his children, Stacey (Jamie Robson) Flood, Matthew (Rachel) Flood, and Chelsea Flood. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, Vivian Flood and Calvin Flood, who brought immense joy to his life.
In addition to his immediate family, David is remembered fondly by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of family and friends who were touched by his kindness and generosity.
David's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
