Obituary
Joanna "Sally" Lee Fenech, born December 21, 1951, in Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away on October 16, 2026, in South Rockwood, Michigan, at the age of 74.
Joanna was a woman of great warmth and kindness, whose love for music, especially the timeless songs of Motown and Elvis Presley, brought joy to her life and those around her. She had a deep affection for children and a passion for dancing, often finding delight in the simple pleasures of life. Joanna was known for her generous spirit, always caring for others and opening her home and heart freely. Family was central to her life; she cherished holding family dinners that brought loved ones together and fostered a sense of belonging and love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Walter Fenech; her brother, Samuel Ratliff; and her parents, Lee and Helen Ratliff.
Joanna leaves behind her devoted daughter, Michelle Fenech; her brother, Steven Ratliff; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will remember her fondly.
Joanna’s legacy of love, generosity, and caring will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be dearly missed and forever remembered by her family and friends.
