GHIST, Benny G., age 74, of Brownstown, June 20, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Carole Ghist. Loving father of Michael (Teri) Ghist, David Ghist, Mark (Liz) Ghist, Cynthia (Fredrick) Morales and Laura (Jonathan) Neighbors. Dearest grandfather of Stephanie, Nichole, Christina, Sean, Ashley, Fredrick II, Chris, Michael, Mitchell, Caroline and Matthew. He is preceded in death by his parents Everett and Jesse Ghist. He will then be taken by Horse-Drawn Carriage to Michigan Memorial Park. Cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

I worked with Benny and felt a special bond with him. I enjoyed his remarkable wit and loved his stories and appreciation of love for classic country music.
