Obituary

GURNER JR., Joe, age 66, of Monroe, April 15, 2022. Beloved husband of Sharon Gurner. Loving father of Joseph Brian (Leah) Gurner, Stephanie (Dan) Krysinski and Casey Gurner. Dearest grandfather of Lila Gurner and Kaylin Gurner. He is also survived by his sisters Joanne Gurner and Kathy Carroll, many nieces and nephews and his beloved furbaby Hope. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Lena Gurner, beloved furbabies Max and Rocky.

“Joe the Pro” could probably tell you how to get un-lost from anywhere in Ohio, could redirect you around any weigh station, and knew where all the staties and speed traps were. He was a great conversationalist, even if we didn’t align politically, and was a lot of fun to work with, especially when he was in the office with us. He had a big heart, and he cared about us in the office, even when our jobs meant we had to be the bad guy every now and then. My heart his broken, we lost another good one. Rest In Paradise, Joe.
