Lucy Katherine Goodman, born on March 14, 1944, in Earle, Arkansas, passed away on January 9, 2026, in Clinton Township, Michigan, at the age of 81.
Lucy was a dedicated and hardworking woman who spent over 20 years working on the assembly line for the automotive industry. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family and her passions outside of her career.
An exceptional seamstress, Lucy had a remarkable talent for creating beautiful garments and crafts. She also enjoyed tending to her yard, where she found peace and fulfillment; but above all, Lucy cherished the time spent with her family, which brought her the greatest happiness.
Lucy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl Goodman, and her parents, James and Jamie Goodwin. She was also predeceased by her sisters Carolyn, Pat, and Virginia, and her brothers Cecil, Jack, and David.
She is survived by her loving sons, Tim Goodman and Todd Goodman, and daughters-in-law Heather and Kristie, who will forever hold her memory dear. Lucy was a proud grandmother to Ben, Shawn, Marissa, Brianah, Paige, Jillian, Charlotte, and Reagan, who were the light of her life. She is also survived by her siblings Tommy, Richard, and Teresa, along with numerous friends who will miss her dearly.
Lucy's warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those she touched throughout her life.
