Obituary
Robert “Bob” Harold Grieve, born on December 29, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away in his hometown on March 10, 2026, at the age of 74.
An avid cyclist, Bob found joy and freedom on two wheels, often exploring the trails with fellow cycling enthusiasts. He also relished the game of golf, savoring the camaraderie and challenge it presented. Ever active, Bob enjoyed biking cross country in serene settings.
Bob was a man of many passions and pursuits, known affectionately by those who knew him as "Social Butterfly" for his warm and engaging presence. He had a deep love for the outdoors and embraced the thrill of skiing as a dedicated member of the Thunderbird Ski Club. His athletic spirit extended to his involvement with the Downriver Y Judo Club, where he demonstrated discipline and strength.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Marjorie Grieve and his significant other, Jackie Fancher.
He leaves behind a loving family, including his children, Teri Grieve, Tracy (John) Kelley and Shelly Grieve. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Robin, Drea, Dailyn, Hunter, Grayson, and Nora.
Bob's legacy is one of warmth, adventure, and a life well-lived. His vibrant spirit will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
