HANNAN, Mavis J., age 93, of Monroe, January 26, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Harold Hannan. Loving mother of Jan (George) Smith, Chuck (Karen) Wint, Jeanne (Bill) Siadak, and Mary Beth Wright. Dearest grandmother of Brian (Olena), Dawn (Dave), Jill (Mike), Sara (Daniel), Dylan, Brynn, Stephen (Rebecca), Jason, Emma, Callie, Jessica, Laurel, and great-grandmother to Samantha, Landon, Karlee, Sydney, George, Lucy, Charlie, Wesley, Desmond, Eliana, Esme, and Harper. She is survived by her brothers Bill (Judy) Timmons, Fred (Jean) Timmons, and Bob Timmons. She is preceded in death by her grandson Mark Siadak, parents James and Genie Timmons, and siblings Jim, Ray, and Faye. Mavis was an active churchgoer whose faith was very important to her. She held Bible studies in her home and also led a Bible study for men at the Wayne/Westland Correctional Facility. She also volunteered at Citizens for Better Care, an advocacy group for people in nursing homes.
