Obituary

Kathleen Leone Knezek, aged 80, passed away on January 3, 2026, in Taylor, Michigan. Born on December 14, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan.

Kathleen was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy was her family. She was known for her artistic spirit and took immense pleasure in cardmaking and scrapbooking, creating lasting memories for her loved ones with her creative touch.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Knezek, and her parents, Earl and Winnie Frank.

Kathleen leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family, her son, David (Lilian) Knezek; her treasured grandchildren, David Jr., Marie (Cris) Presnell, and Matthew (Kris) Knezek; and her adored great-grandchildren, Henry Presnell and Bennett Knezek. She is also survived by her dear sister, Elaine (Michael) Doran.

Kathleen will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Shriners Children’s Hospital in Kathleen’s honor.
