Obituary
John Warren Lucas, born June 8, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on October 12, 2026, in Dearborn, Michigan, at the age of 87.
John dedicated much of his life to his work as a Model Maker at Ford Motor, where his skill and craftsmanship were highly regarded. Outside of his professional career, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, working as a car porter, and spending time at the casino.
He was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Marjorie Lucas; his sons, John Allan Lucas Sr. and Jeffrey Warren Lucas; his parents, Thomas and Alice Lucas; and his brother, Bill.
John is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Joseph (Jordan) Schwierking, Sydney (David) Bastow, John (Kaitlyn) Lucas, Zachari Lucas, and Jacob Lucas. He also takes comfort in the legacy of his great-grandchildren Briella, Lillian, Javin, Jameson, Julianna, Jagger, Joseph, Conner, Jaidyn, Oaklynn, and Olive.
John Warren Lucas will be deeply missed by all who knew him for his warmth, dedication, and the joy he brought to his family and friends.
