Obituary
Matthew Dennis Lee, affectionately known as Matt or Matty, passed awat peacefully on August 17, 2025, at the age of 61 after a short illness. He was surrounded by loved ones in his final moments, a reflection of the deep bonds he built throughout his life.
Born on October 4, 1963, Matt was known for his quick wit and one-liners, love of Ford vehicles and NASCAR. He showed an extraordinary amount of love for his family, friends and his dog Smokey.
Matt is lovingly remembered by his sisters: Lenni Anne Sadowski, Reenie Taylor (John Rutherford), and Nancy Raffin (Paul); sisterin-law- Mary Lee and by his nieces and nephews: Kirk Paulson, Erik Lee (Jennifer), Robin Derr (Andrew Slomowicz), Bonnie Henley (Chris), Bradley Taylor and Mark Taylor. He also leaves behind several great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Pat Lee; siblings Janice Paulson, Mark Lee, and Robin Hill; and brother-in-law Tim Hill and Don Sadowski.
Matt’s legacy of kindness, humor, and devotion to family will continue to live on in hearts of all who knew and loved him.
