Obituary
Andra Lyn McDiarmid, aged 63, passed away on September 9, 2026, in Garden City, Michigan. Born on November 18, 1962, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, Andra lived a life rich with creativity and kindness.
A devoted wife, sister, and friend, Andra shared her vibrant spirit with everyone she met. She possessed a passion for the arts, expressing herself through painting and leaving beautifully painted rocks in unexpected places, bringing joy to those who discovered them. Her love of playing darts was well-known, and she cherished the camaraderie and friendships she formed within the dart-playing community.
Andra was preceded in death by her beloved parents, William and Marilyn Kunkle, her brother Barry Kunkle, and her dear cousin and best friend, Ruth Ann Burris.
She is survived by her loving husband, Scott McDiarmid, who stood by her side through all of life's moments. Her sisters, Ellen (Gordon) Root and Kathleen Kunkle, will remember her warmth and laughter fondly. Andra's memory will also be cherished by her many family members, friends, and all those in the dart community who were touched by her presence.
Though she has left this world, Andra's artistic spirit, beautiful smile and loving nature will continue to inspire and uplift those who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
