Obituary

Cindy Marie Manning, born on September 1, 1962, in Trenton, passed away in her hometown on January 10, 2026, at the age of 63.

Cindy was a woman of many passions, finding joy and tranquility in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for lighthouses, often marveling at their steadfastness and beauty. Her adventurous spirit led her to enjoy camping trips and days spent at the beach, where she found solace in the sound of the waves. A devoted fan of NASCAR, Cindy relished the thrill of the race. She also delighted in the quiet challenge of puzzles and the creativity of crafts, pursuits that reflected her thoughtful and artistic nature.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joel Raymond Manning; her father, Walker Shumake; and her father and mother-in-law, John and Connie Manning.

Cindy leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory: her children, Daniel Paul (Carrie) Crane, Nicole Marie (Matthew Brewer) Letellier, and Sean (Kaleigh) Manning; her adored grandchildren, Crystal (Jacob), Ryanne, Arianna, Dakota, Brianna, and Joel; her mother, Betty Marie Shumake; her partner, Kevin Bourque; and her sisters, Debra and Barbara.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family. Cindy's warmth, kindness, and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
