Obituary
Daniel Jon Monroe, born on December 20, 1945, in Wyandotte, Michigan, passed away on April 25, 2026, in Monroe, Michigan, at the age of 80.
Daniel was a dedicated and skilled welder in the automotive industry for many years. His hard work and commitment were evident in every project he undertook, and he took great pride in his craft.
Beyond his professional life, Daniel was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He shared a love for fishing, spending many serene hours by the water. As a sports enthusiast, he relished cheering for his favorite teams, and he found joy in tinkering with and racing RC boats.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Charles and Edith Monroe. Daniel is survived by his cherished wife, Barbara Monroe; his loving children, Suzette Poma (husband Jerry) and Douglas Milley (wife Laurie); and his dear grandchildren, Justin Milley and Marchelo Poma. Daniel will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and dedication to those he loved.
His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
