Judy Sandra Madera, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 2, 2025, in Carleton, Michigan, at the age of 75. Born on October 9, 1949, in Spring City, Tennessee, Judy lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication to her family.
Professionally, Judy retired as a manager of food service, but Judy’s first priority was her unwavering commitment to her family. She found immense joy in spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of them.
Judy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Madera; her parents, Arch and Susie Robbins; her brothers, Doyle, Bobby, and Billy Joe Robbins; her sister, Dorothy Elkins; and her brother-in-law, Albert Madera.
She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her four children, Angela (Jim) Pizzimenti, Crystal (Ehab) Madera-Ghadieh, Michael Madera, and David (Christina) Madera; her cherished grandchildren, Brooke, Zayd, Emran, Eniss, Vivian, Richard, Reid, and Ava; her siblings, Donald Robbins, Glenn (Darla) Robbins, Shirley Mae, Olena Hall, and Jackie (Cheryl) Robbins; sisters-in-law Juanita Bianchi, Connie Osborne, Fran Madera, Millie (Tom) Wieschowski, Dolores Madera, Estephanie Madera, Rosemary Fitzsimmons, Theresa Tolbert, Alicia (Joe) Hodgkinson, Angie Madera, and Marie Madera; brothers-in-law Greg Madera, Ace (Gayle) Madera, Ben (Nely) Madero, Joe Madera, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. A service to celebrate Judy's life will take place on Monday, September 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM, followed by entombment at Michigan Memorial Park.
