Mary Jane Manchester, born on January 3, 1951, in Lincoln Park, Michigan, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Grosse Ile, Michigan, at the age of 74. Her life was a testament to resilience, passion, and love, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Mary was a dedicated small business owner, whose entrepreneurial spirit led her to own several businesses over the years, including a cherished porcelain doll shop.
From a young age, Mary had a profound love for horses. She competed in horse competitions throughout her youth, showcasing her talent and dedication. She also volunteered in the equine community for Stepping Stones and 4H.
Mary's life was enriched by her loving family. She is survived by her beloved husband, Robert Manchester, her devoted sons and spouses, Jason and Ruby Manchester and Adam and Rose Manchester, and her three cherished grandchildren, Pierce and Cali Manchester, and Caine Terech. She is also survived by her sister, Anne (Bill) Chapman, and her brother, Mark (Bonnie) Hensley.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Donna Jones, whose memory she cherished deeply.
Mary's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, laughter, and unwavering strength. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and courage that will be remembered and celebrated by her family and friends for generations to come.
