Obituary

Roger Dean Maynor, born on May 16, 1957, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on April 24, 2025, in Romulus, Michigan, at the age of 67.

Roger was a devoted family man who cherished his time with loved ones. He was the beloved husband of Lydia, with whom he shared nearly 49 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family, and a life filled with cherished memories.

He is survived by his children: Roger (Crystal) Maynor, Jr., Christina (Michael) Webb, and Rachel (Gino) Zammit. Roger was a proud grandfather to eleven grandchildren: Caitlyn, Brooklyn, Riley, Taylor, Matthew, Judith, William, Kassidy, Breydan, Landon, and Addison. He also leaves behind two great-grandchildren, Jiraiya and Sequoia, with baby boy Onyx soon to join the family.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Dillard and Nancy Maynor, as well as his brother, George "Steve," and sister, Donna.

In his leisure time, Roger enjoyed riding his Harley, finding freedom and joy on the open road.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. A service will follow at 3:00 PM. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park.
