Obituary

Montalvo, Tammi T., age 58, of Newport, September 26, 2023. Beloved wife of Fred Montalvo. Loving mother of Britany (Kenny King) Montalvo and Dillon (Kelsey) Montalvo. Dearest grandmother of many grand-dogs and grand-cats. She is survived by her sister Lori (Jim) Tecmire. She is preceded in death by her parents Vernon and Margaret "Peggy" Gillem and her sister Debbie Caruana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Monroe Humane Society. Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.

We are so heartbroken to hear of Tammi’s passing. She is truly a dear dear friend who will be missed beyond understanding. Our “Cookie Days” from years past to our adventures in Arizona and all the memories in between will remain in our hearts forever. I had recently began reconnecting with Tammi after a long period of not seeing her. I am so sad to hear this news. She was always such a good hearted person who always tried to make the people around her happier. A lover of nature and animals, and the simple pleasures of life.
