Obituary

Paul Carmine Nappo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on September 23, 2025, in Van Buren Township, Michigan, at the age of 73. Born on April 4, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan, Paul was known for his dedication to family, faith, and community.

Paul dedicated many years of his life to working in Tool & Die for Ford Motor Co., where he was respected and admired for his hard work and commitment. Beyond his professional life, Paul was passionate about coaching and shared his love for sports, particularly football and wrestling, with many young athletes.

An avid gardener, he found joy and solace nurturing his plants and cultivating beauty in his surroundings.

Paul's strong faith was a cornerstone in his life, and he enjoyed studying the Bible. He also found peace and relaxation in fishing, often enjoying the tranquility it offered.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ann Nappo; his brother, David Nappo; and his daughter, Elizabeth Scalici.

Paul leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory: his devoted spouse, Connie; his children, Craig (Tonya) Nappo, Keith (Amy) Nappo, and Jacob Nappo; and his stepchildren, Susanne (Cheryl) Wood, Connie (Tom) Timmerman, Rhonda (Tim) Richter, and Pat (Amy) Ross. He was a proud grandfather to 15 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 10 great-grandchildren. Paul is also survived by his siblings, Michael Nappo, Linda (Robert) McCarty, and Nancy (Brian) Obrycki; his sister-in-law, Cynthia Nappo; his son-in-law, Jeffrey Scalici; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family warmly invites all who knew and loved Paul to join them for visitation on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A service to honor Paul's life will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at 11:00 AM, followed by interment at Michigan Memorial Park.

Paul Carmine Nappo will be remembered for his kind heart, unwavering faith, and the joy he brought into the lives of those he touched. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
