Obituary

Carole Ann Omilian, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Dearborn at the age of 78. Born on December 3, 1946, in Wyandotte, Carole was the cherished daughter of Orlin and Phyllis Lear.

Carole was a devoted family woman whose greatest joy came from spending time with her loved ones, especially at the lake in Oscoda. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers, relishing every game and sharing her enthusiasm with those around her.

Preceding Carole in death was her beloved husband, Paul Omilian; her parents, Orlin and Phyllis Lear; and her brother, Brian Lear.

She is survived by her loving children: Kelly (Jamie) Boyd, Tracy (Todd Matson) Allen, and Jonathan (Jamie Popiel) Omilian. Carole's legacy continues through her adored grandchildren: James (Sydney), Hunter, Carter, Brett, and Ayla, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with their grandmother.

Carole will be fondly remembered by her niece, Courtney (Kyle) Degener and her children Sam, Gabby, Joshua, and her step-siblings, Toni Tront and Don Tront, who held a special place in her heart.

Carole Ann Omilian's warmth, kindness, and dedication to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love she so generously gave throughout her life.

Condolences
