Obituary

Carol Ann Palmer, born on May 14, 1946, in Wyandotte, passed away on January 18, 2026, in Livonia at the age of 79. 

Carol was a dedicated educator, having served as a teacher at the Wyandotte Public Schools for over 30 years. Her passion for teaching and her commitment to her students left a lasting impact on many young lives.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Palmer; her parents, Francis and Mary Morgan; and her sister, Sandra Sakey. 

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Rebecca (Tim) Strong, and her cherished grandchildren, Sarah and James. She also leaves behind her brothers, Fred (Mary) Morgan and Gary (Gail) Morgan, along with many loving nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her kindness and warmth.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gift of Life Michigan in Carol's memory.
