Obituary

Cheryl Lynn Patrick, born on January 26, 1958, in Wayne, Michigan, passed away on May 16, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan, at the age of 68. Cheryl was a devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished friend whose warm spirit touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Cheryl dedicated much of her life to caring for others, working as a caregiver—an occupation that perfectly suited her nurturing nature and compassionate heart. She found great joy in providing comfort and support to those in need and was truly fulfilled by her work.

Her love for music, particularly the rock and roll of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, was an integral part of her life. Cheryl's passion extended beyond just listening; it was a soundtrack to many cherished memories with family and friends. She was an avid NASCAR enthusiast, never missing a race, and relished days spent exploring antique stores, discovering treasures of the past. Cheryl had a special affinity for her birds and turtles, who brought her endless joy and companionship. Above all, she loved being outdoors, embracing the simple beauty of nature.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Robert Blair. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her devoted spouse, Don Patrick; beloved daughters Melissa and Angie; stepchildren Donny, Scott, Josh, and Mariah; 23 adoring grandchildren and one great-grandchild; her siblings Jamie, Jeff, Crystal, and Cindy; and numerous nieces and nephews who looked up to her with admiration.

Cheryl's legacy is one of love, kindness, and the unforgettable warmth she shared with all who knew her. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
