Bernard Anthony Razmek, a man of profound faith and a lover of nature, passed away in Trenton, Michigan, on May 14, 2026, at the age of 96. Born on June 12, 1929, in Wyandotte, Michigan, Bernard lived a life full of love, family, and cherished moments.
A devout Catholic, Bernard's faith was a guiding presence throughout his life. He found joy and solace in tending to his flower gardens, finding beauty and peace in the blooms he nurtured with great care. An enthusiast of crossword puzzles, Bernard enjoyed the quiet challenge they presented, keeping his mind sharp and engaged.
Bernard had a special affinity for the outdoors, both through his love of nature and his pride in homeownership. He took immense pleasure in maintaining his home and yard, often seen sitting outside, savoring the tranquility of his surroundings. His cherished retreat was his home on Lake James near Houghton Lake, where he spent countless days enjoying the serene beauty of the lakeside.
Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Victoria Razmek, his parents, Branislav and Edna Rzamek, his siblings Joseph, Sophie, Elizabeth, and Christine, and his dear daughter Janet Razmek, Bernard is now reunited with them in eternal rest.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and fond memories for his surviving children, David (Carolyn) Razmek and Nancy (James) Jackson. His grandchildren, Elizabeth Barsodi, Sarah Jackson, James Jackson, and Brendan Razmek, along with his great-grandchildren, Sophia Barsodi, Jackson Barsodi, and Oanna Jackson, will forever hold him in their hearts.
