Kay Zidona Robinson, a beloved family matriarch, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on April 5, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 82. Born on May 5, 1942, in Joliet, Illinois, Kay devoted her life to her cherished role as a mother and grandmother, embodying love, care, and selflessness throughout her years.
Kay was a woman whose heart was devoted entirely to her family. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the company of her children and grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. Her deepest wish was to be a mother to four children, a dream she fulfilled with boundless affection and devotion. Her legacy is one of warmth and kindness, always putting her family first and being present for every milestone, recital, performance, and sporting event. Her memory will forever be treasured by her surviving family: her children Stuart (Sharon) Robinson, Curt (Deborah Kunz) Robinson, Linda (Patrick) Callahan, and Vickie (Michael) Molnar. Her grandchildren, Krystal (John), Shannon (Ray), Briana, Tyler (Lindsay), Cody, Jesse, Summer, Faith, Rory, Brendan, Camden, and Mackenzie, along with her great-grandchildren, Lillian and Wyatt, will all carry forward her legacy of love and unity.
