Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Stoughton, who departed this life on June 10, 2025, at the age of 80. Carol was born on January 3, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, and she spent her final days surrounded by family in Rockwood.

Carol was a devoted member of St. Roch Catholic Church for over two decades, where her presence was cherished by all who knew her. Known for her spunk and pizzazz, Carol brought joy and laughter into the lives of those around her. She was an avid Euchre player, whose strategic skills were matched only by her love of a good time. Her linear thinking and organizational prowess were defining traits that made her a respected figure among friends and family alike.

Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyde "Buzz" Stoughton, and their son, Michael Stoughton. She is survived by her loving son, Scott Stoughton, who continues to carry forward her legacy. She also leaves behind her dear sister, Rosemary Perdue, and her cherished nieces and nephews: Kimberlly Jahn, Shelley (Ron) Regan, Wendy Feamster, Heather (Chad Verrill) Feamster, and James Perdue. Carol's memory will also live on in the heart of her great niece and nephew, Kenny Perdue, Sabrina Rice, and Carl Jahn.

Carol's vibrant spirit and steadfast faith left an indelible mark on all who knew her. As we remember her life, we hold close the moments of joy and the lessons of love she imparted. May she rest in eternal peace.

Condolences
