Obituary
Dianne Elaine Shelton, aged 71, of Allen Park, Michigan, passed away on August 8, 2025. Born on October 4, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, she brought warmth and kindness to all who knew her.
Dianne dedicated much of her career to the banking industry, where she worked diligently in collections. Her professional life was marked by her unwavering commitment and her ability to handle each challenge with grace and integrity.
Beyond her work, Dianne found joy and fulfillment in the simple pleasures of life. She had a profound love for gardening, nurturing her plants with the same care and attention she offered to her loved ones. Her faith was central to her life, and she remained actively involved with her church community throughout the years. Shopping was another beloved pastime, one that she thoroughly enjoyed, often turning outings into cherished adventures.
Above all, Dianne treasured her family. She relished every moment spent with her daughters, Candice Shelton and Natalie (Larry) Schoenauer, and took immense pride in her grandchildren, Kayla Rodriguez, Miranda Rodriguez, and Rory Schoenauer. Her role as a great-grandmother to little Romeo brought her endless delight and satisfaction.
Dianne is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Randall; her parents, Donald and Eileen; her sister, Lynda Chavis; and her brother, Gregory Chamberlin. She is survived by her dear sister, Jennifer Chamberlin; her brother-in-law, Harlis; and her sister-in-law, Betty. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a service at 6:00 PM. Cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory," located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
Dianne's compassion, strength, and dedication to her family and community will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew her.
