Obituary
Jerry Salo, aged 87, passed away on September 24, 2025, in Ash Township, Michigan. Jerry was born on April 18, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois.
Jerry had a passion for the great outdoors and could often be found enjoying hunting expeditions. He was also an avid bowler, spending many happy hours at the lanes. In his quiet moments, Jerry loved watching westerns and action movies, which brought him much joy throughout his life.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kathleen Salo, with whom he shared many cherished years, and his parents James and Mildred Sweeney. Jerry is survived by his loving children, Rick (Danita) Salo, and Jim (Marion) Salo. His legacy continues through his three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who brought immense pride and happiness into his life.
Jerry will be dearly missed by his family and friends, who will forever remember his adventurous spirit and love for the simple pleasures in life.
