Obituary

Linda Sue Schulte, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, in Dearborn, Michigan, at the age of 84. Born on February 17, 1941, in Paducah, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of Samuel and Elna Cain.

Linda was known for her incredible dedication to her family and her remarkable talent in the kitchen, where she delighted loved ones with her amazing southern cooking. Her warmth and hospitality were felt by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ralph Schulte; her son, Keith Schulte; and her parents, Samuel and Elna Cain. Linda's legacy lives on through her surviving children: Jeffrey Schulte, Susan (John) Carone, and Sandra (Michael) Simms. She was a proud grandmother to Karissa (Sean) O'Neill, Michael (Heidi) Sears, Trevor Simms, Tyler (Jasmine) Simms, and Jeffrey Schulte. Her great-grandchildren, Bannon O'Neill, Avery O'Neill, Cameron O'Neill, Rylie Roselin O'Neill, and Baby Sears, expected in 2026, will carry forward her spirit and love.

Linda is also survived by her siblings, Dianne Gardner and Samuel Cain, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Her life was a testament to hard work, love, and the joy of sharing meals and memories with those she held dear. Linda's presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy will continue to inspire those who knew her.
