Manish "Manny" Sikka, born on March 21, 1970, in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, passed away in Wayne, Michigan. Manny was the beloved son of Darshana Sikka and the late Vinai Sikka. He was cherished by his sister Vaishali Sikka and adored by his nephews Aryan, Nikhil, and Armaan. Manny's warmth and kindness also left an indelible mark on the Katial and Mehra families, who held him dear.
For over two decades, Manny was the proud owner of Pack & Parcel, a UPS store that was his pride and joy. He was a well-known figure in the Ypsilanti Community Township, where he forged deep connections and friendships with his customers, treating them as family. Manny had a big heart and was always thinking of others before himself, a true testament to his generous spirit.
In addition to his business acumen, Manny found joy in basketball, both as a player and as a mentor to young aspiring athletes. He relished the opportunity to teach children the game, imparting not only skills but also life lessons through sportsmanship and teamwork.
A deeply spiritual person, Manny lived his faith every day, embodying the virtues of compassion and service. His final act was one of selflessness, his health declined while helping an elderly customer mow her grass—an embodiment of how he lived his life, always giving and caring for those around him.
Manny will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and the community he served so devotedly. His legacy of kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew him.
