Sandra was a cherished member of the Downriver United Methodist Church, where she spent countless hours nurturing her faith and supporting her community. Her deep connection to her church and her family were the pillars of her existence, providing her with immense joy and fulfillment.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Simon, and dear brother, Edward, Sandra's memory will forever be cherished by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her devoted children, Jean (Aaron) Smith and Rose (Erich) Smith, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Sandra's grandchildren, Samantha (Michael), Jacob, Marianne (Randy), Madison, Rebecca, Alexander, Olivia, and Nicholas, held a special place in her heart, as did her great-grandchildren, Otto and Griffin. She found endless joy in their presence and treasured each moment spent with them.

Her companion, Fred Robertson, provided her with companionship and happiness in her later years. She is also survived by her loving siblings, Richard, Paul (Ruth), and Scott (Nancy), as well as her supportive sisters-in-law, Pam Hughes and Eleanor Simon.
