VASS, John F., age 87, of Woodhaven, December 23, 2023. Beloved husband of Shirley Vass for 65 years. Loving father of Mark Vass and Natalie (John) Drouillard. Dearest grandfather of Jonathan Drouillard and Jeremy Vass. He is preceded in death by his parents Julius and Helen Vass. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Shriner’s Hospital.
There is a loving God in Christ
Whose Face I've always yearned to see,
But it's up to Him to name the time when He would set me free
To Come to Him with outstretched arms and on my bended knee.
Though He is my Friend and Savior. He is also my King;
Who shares the throne with God the Father, as the angels sing
Songs of praise and celebration that it has come to be
The timeless time when God Almighty reaches out to me
and bring me home into a place He calls Eternity!
