Obituary

Dorothy Marie Wagner, born on October 29, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on October 1, 2025, in Belleville, Michigan, at the age of 78. Dorothy was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister whose kindness touched everyone she met.
A dedicated worker, Dorothy served as a clerk for the Postal Office for 34 years, where she was known for her diligence and friendly demeanor. Her colleagues fondly remember her as a reliable and cheerful presence.
Dorothy had a passion for the arts, spending much of her free time creating beautiful ceramics and oil paintings. She also enjoyed painting in various other mediums and found great joy and relaxation in these pursuits as well as relaxing while listening to country music. Additionally, she was an avid bowler and cherished the camaraderie and competition that came with the sport. Robert and Dorothy also took many trips down to Florida where they would enjoy the time spent at their time shares.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Dorothy, and her brothers, David and Charlie. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 59 years, Robert; her loving son, Brian Wagner; and two beloved grandchildren, Tarin and Jordan, who will continue to celebrate her life and legacy.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory," located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
Dorothy's gentle spirit and warm smile will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
