Kathryn Ann Walker, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2025, in Taylor, Michigan, at the age of 68. Born on June 2, 1957, in Trenton, Michigan, Kathryn lived a full and vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Kathryn's joy for life was evident in her many interests. She found serenity in fishing, casting her line with patience and hope. Her adventurous spirit soared when she flew kites, embracing the wind and sky with childlike wonder. Kathryn had an eye for hidden treasures, often finding delight in thrift shopping. She possessed a sweet tooth that was particularly fond of coke slushes, a treat she enjoyed with great enthusiasm.
Kathryn was preceded in death by her devoted husband, William Walker; her loving parents, Robert and Norma Leyland; and her siblings. She leaves behind a legacy through her sons, Matthew Walker and Michael Walker, who will carry forward her memory and values. Her cherished grandchildren, David, Madelyn, Caleb, and Tylier Walker, were the light of her life, bringing her immense pride and joy.
Kathryn is also survived by her dear sister, Karen Slater, with whom she shared a lifelong bond of sisterhood and friendship.
