Patricia Annette Way, born on May 27, 1943, in Wytheville, Virginia, passed away on July 17, 2026, in Pensacola, Florida, at the age of 83. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew her, but her memory will forever be cherished.

Patricia was a devoted homemaker whose life was a testament to compassion and benevolence. With a servant heart, she never met a stranger, touching the lives of everyone she encountered with her genuineness and generosity. She found joy in serving others, dedicating her time as a volunteer at several churches, including Redford Church of Christ, Plymouth Church of Christ, and Gulf Shores Church of Christ in Alabama. Her dedication to her faith and church community was a cornerstone of her life.

Family was Patricia's greatest joy. She spent countless cherished moments with her loved ones, creating memories that will endure through generations. Her love and steadfast support were the foundation of her family. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Florene Suthers, and her brother, John Suthers, Jr. Patricia is survived by her husband, Bobby, the love of her life for 65 years, who will deeply miss her presence; her daughter, Sharon A. (Michael Patrick Sr.) Kirby; her son, Brian A. Way; her grandchildren, Zoe E. Melton, Alicia E. Melton, and Isabelle E. Melton; as well as her step-grandchildren, Brittany (Austin) Schillman, Michael Kirby Jr., and Brooke (Mikey) Jones. Patricia was also blessed with two step-great-grandchildren: Beckham Schillman and Taytum Schillman.

She leaves behind her beloved siblings, Linda "Sue" Hardy, Elizabeth "Lulu" (Randy) Hammar, and Benny (Alice) Suthers, along with several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her loving spirit.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 25th, at 10:30 a.m. at Gulf Shores Church of Christ, 2414 W. 1st Street, Gulf Shores, AL, 36542.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, August 1st, at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery, 30895 W. Huron River Drive, Flat Rock, MI 48134, in the company of her family & closest friends.
