CREMATION BURIAL OPTIoNS AT MICHIGAN MEMORIAL PARK:
Golf - 19th Hole
Cremation services in Michigan are provided by the 19th Hole Golf Course Columbarium. With this touching burial, you will honor the memory of your loved one who loved golf during his or her lifetime. "On the 19th hole" refers to the end of play or the place where players go after play. Since there are only 18 holes in golf.
The Columbarium is a small golf course lawn surrounded by niches for urns with ashes. These in-ground burials are designed for 2 urns.
The columbarium is located in a quiet area of Michigan Memorial. There is a wall on one side of the columbarium. The other side is bordered by a manicured lawn and ornamental plants.
Crowning this unique columbarium is a figure of a golfer concentrating on hitting the ball.
The niche for the urn with the ashes is covered with a polished black marble slab, on which you can engrave not only the name and date of birth/death, but also the number of golf wins or the motto with which your loved one walked through life.
The price for a niche for two urns in the columbarium "on the 19th hole" is $6,000.
